The cards have been drawn. The dice are rolling. Who did it, where and with what? Come play the game and lead the audience through all the “clues” to catch the perpetrator. The game insures a lot of fun and hilarity as it evolves and the clues reveal the culprit. Like each time the game is played, the ending will be different every time.
Auditions are Sept. 16, from 4-6:30 p.m. and Sept. 17, from 5-7 p.m. in the theatre board room, located at 120 Abraham Dr. in Ames. Everyone is encouraged to audition. Please have a solo prepared that is about one minute in length. There will be an accompanist available, but feel free to bring a digital karaoke version. A speaker and headphone jack will be provided. Be prepared to read for the character you wish to audition for.
This production needs four men and four women. Cast includes: Mr. Boddy, our charismatic host; Mrs. Peacock, a manipulative, sexy socialite; Mrs. Scarlet a shrewd, attractive vixen; Mrs. White, a fun-loving cockney maid; Colonel Mustard, a pompous and randy military man; Professor Plum, an astute intellectual; Mr. Green, a slick and handsome wheeler-dealer — and a hard-nosed, snappy detective.
“Clue: The Musical” opens Nov. 15 and runs through Nov. 25. There are performances Thanksgiving weekend. Rehearsals run three or four nights a week, and all cast members will be expected to be at rehearsal every night the week Nov. 11.
