Waukee releases CSST pipe fire hazard alert
The City of Waukee released earlier today that Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST) pipes could lead homeowners to a higher risk of damage or fire from a lightening strike.
According to the City of Waukee’s website, some installation of CSST prior to 2010 do not have appropriate bonding and grounding, which potentially can become dangerous.
