On Jan. 1, 2017 the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office responded to 25083 O Avenue in Dallas County on a welfare check at 7 p.m. Deputies were advised that family members had not heard from Rosemary Connolly, 62, for several days and they were concerned for her welfare.
Connolly was found alive and taken by Dallas County EMS to Mercy West for treatment.
Deputies from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office located Connolly’s vehicle parked at her residence. There was no answer to the front door, but deputies could hear dogs and music coming from inside the residence. Deputies went around to the back of the house and observed that the back door was wide open.
Deputies made entrance into the house and found Connolly incapacitated. It is estimated that she spent a minimum of five days alone and unable to get up.
She reported that she had fallen and hurt herself. No foul play is suspected.
