ADEL — ISU Extension in Dallas County is hosting an Agronomy Coffee on Friday, Jan. 27 from 9:30-11 a.m. at their office in Adel.
Mark Johnson, an extension field agronomist, will discuss the research, benefits and challenges of planting cover crops.
The remaining time, farmers are welcome to ask Johnson any questions they may have related to crop production.
“This is an informal time to sit down and chat before planting begins,” said Johnson. “I look forward to seeing familiar faces from our first ag coffee and new ones as well.”
Coffee, juice and donuts provided. No cost to attend, but RSVPs appreciated to Aleta Cochran at (515) 993-4281 or email@example.com.
