Iowa Fireworks Company has teamed up with the Dallas County Fair to hold a fireworks charity auction Friday, July 7 at 6 p.m at Dallas County Fairgrounds with a fireworks show at dusk to follow. A portion of all sales will be donated back to the Fairgrounds. Auctioneering services will be provided by LandProz. The Dallas County Fair begins on July 12.

“We had never heard of a fireworks auction before,” says Fair Board President, Sean Hick. “But what better way to give back to the community and sell fireworks before the sales cut-off date set by the State.”

“Iowa Fireworks Company had a goal in mind to give back to each community in Iowa”, said Ali Boettcher. “We also wanted to team up with an organization that directly impacts the community in a positive way. This charity auction is a perfect culmination of the dedication we have had to each community, and to Iowans across the state. We encourage everyone to come out to the Dallas County Fairgrounds Friday evening to celebrate the freedom of buying fireworks, but also take part in giving back to the community.”

Iowa Fireworks Company has teamed up with nonprofits all across the state of Iowa to give back to each community that it was in. A portion of the revenue from each tent will go to a nonprofit organization in that community following the end of the sale of fireworks in Iowa.
