GRANGER — The City of Granger is pleased to announce Granger Days 2017. The event will be held at Centennial Park, Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017.
There are many fun events planned for people of all ages which include Xpogo Stunt Team! They hold 13 current Guinness World Records, have appeared on dozens of national and international shows including the TODAY show, the Tonight Show, Ellen and Queen Latifah.
Other fun activities include magician Jonathan May, children’s inflatables, petting zoo, game truck, parade, bags tournament, sand volleyball tournament, tractor, car & truck show, beer garden, movie in the park, fireworks and tethered hot air balloon rides!
Centennial Park is located just off of Highway 141 in Granger. The party begins at 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2017 with Farm Rock taking the stage outside Bud’s Pub on Main Street. A pancake breakfast, hosted by the Knights of Columbus, kicks off Saturday’s events from 8-10 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church, 1904 Sycamore Sreet.
The parade begins at 10 a.m. beginning on Kennedy Avenue. The party begins, in the park, immediately following the parade. Saturday night will be topped off by Granger’s own Suede beginning at 9 p.m. outside Bud’s Pub and ending the party at 1 a.m.
The Centennial Park baseball diamond will be the place for endless kid’s games, jump houses and family friendly activities! Events include caricature artist, face painting, balloon artists, and a clown juggler, just to name a few.
Wristbands are on sale now at City Hall, 1906 Main Street, at the cost of $8 for one or three for $20. The price will go up to $10 for one and $25 for three the day of the event.
