The Adel Family Fun Center is excited to partner with the Bowlers To Veterans Link, a non-profit charity, in which money is raised to help local Veterans. Bryce and Kale Smith, owners of the Adel Family Fun Center; Bowling, Bar and Grill, have set a goal to raise $5,000 before Nov. 11 2017, Veteran’s Day. Their bowling center joins hundreds of other centers around the country in efforts to raise awareness and funds to help support our military and veterans.
The Fun Center will have multiple ways to donate ranging from “Shoes For Freedom” in which they will be donating $1 from every shoe rental from now until Veteran’s Day. They will also be selling “Soldier Pins” in which you can donate and write your name or a Veteran’s name on a displayable paper pin. They will also be conducting a BVL mail-in tournament for their league bowlers the week of Veteran’s Day along with a free-will donation jar at the front counter open to anyone. All leading up to a “Bowl For Freedom” event on Saturday, November 11th, Veteran’s Day starting at 1pm were everyone is invited to bowl, eat and drink at the Adel Family Fun Center, they will be having drawings, deals and more!
Bryce, Kale and the staff of the Adel Family Fun Center will be holding a donation total reveal on Monday, Nov. 13 at 5 p.m. outside of the Adel Family Fun Center.
“Being able to give back, especially to our Veterans, is just a small way to say thank you to so many brave men and women who have fought to protect and defend our country, our freedoms and our liberties!” Bryce Smith says. “The Bowlers To Veterans Link is a wonderful organization that connects our bowling community to the needs of Veterans, and the best part is, the money stays right here in our communities to help local service men, women and veterans!”
Bryce and Kale Smith have set their goal to raise $5,000 by Veteran’s Day 2017.
“I am hoping by the time October rolls around we will have exceeded our $5,000 goal and we will be setting a new, much higher, goal!” Kale Smith says.
