On Sunday, April 29, 2018, the Waukee Area Historical Society will have their seventh annual Alice’s Spaghettiland Dinner Fundraiser at St. Boniface Church, 1200 Warrior Lane in Waukee from 5-7 p.m. Ticket will be on sale from March 23 through April 23.


Tickets can be purchased online at www.waukeehistory.org in the website’s store.


Tickets can also be purchased in person at Waukee Hardware, 380 6th St in Waukee or at the Waukee Public Library 950 Warrior Lane. Alice’s nephew Jim Nizzi will be making Alice’s famous signature Spaghetti Sauce and garlic salad dressing.


Adult tickets are $15 each, to go orders are $16 each, and children 10 and under are $7 each.


Alice’s Spaghettiland Restaurant was a staple at the Shuler Mine area of Waukee for 57 years. Alice’s opened on July 25, 1947 and closed in 2004. Since April of 2012, every year with the help of the Nizzi family the Waukee Area Historical Society holds their Alice’s Spaghettiland Dinner Fundraiser like Alice’s, it too has become a family tradition. Come celebrate the memory of Alice Nizzi and her historic restaurant for a great cause the Waukee Area Historical Society.
