The local Dallas Center-Grimes FFA Chapter received a $1,400 donation from Dakota Access Pipeline. Funds will be used to benefit local FFA members and chapter activities that help develop leaders.
Dakota Access is giving each organization $5,000 per county pipeline traverses, totaling $90,000 across 18 counties in Iowa. In an effort to support youth programs in counties along the entire four state pipeline route, Dakota Access made similar donations in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Illinois, totaling more than $400,000.
“We are grateful to the Dakota Access Pipeline for the $1,400 donation to our local Dallas Center Grimes FFA Chapter,” says Randy Reis, DC-G Chapter Advisor.
The funds will be used to support sending local FFA Members to the National FFA Leadership Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana this coming fall.
