There is a new theater being built in Waukee and the latest additions called for extra special help.

The Fridley-Palms Theater is a new cinema being built at 200 NE Westgate Drive in Waukee.

On Thursday, June 28 many citizens stopped and watched as construction workers added and installed the building's main air conditioning units. The site brought on so many spectators because of the process it took to install all of the units. St Louis Helicopter LLC was there to fly one of their many helicopters back and forth between the workers outside and inside the building.

The process took approximately three hours to complete with many hands helping to attach the units to the helicopter's carrier that were later dropped in the top floor of the building.

The theater construction is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
