On July 10, 2018 at approximately 2:43PM, a caller contacted the Dallas County Sheriff’s Dispatch and advised that a male riding a motorcycle west of Waukee on Highway 6 was driving erratically. Dallas County Deputies located the motorcycle and attempted to follow it and observe the driving patterns, when the motorcycle suddenly accelerated away from them in the 24000 block of Highway 6.

The motorcycle refused to stop and accelerated away from the Deputies at a very high rate of speed through the city of Adel. The motorcycle went west on Highway 6 all the way to Redfield. The motorcycle appeared to be malfunctioning and the driver lost control of it in the gravel parking area of the Redfield Co-Op. The driver was arrested without incident.
