ADEL - Kading announced today that the first Phase of its Twin Eagles development will be ready for occupancy Sept. 15, 2018. The development is opening in phases, with the first 10 homes ready for move-in, and the others opening throughout the fall. When completed, the development will have a total of 118 homes.
“We are thrilled to be working in Adel and bringing a quality rental home to the market,” said Karie Kading Ramsey, CEO of Kading. “We know our homes are affordable and we take great pride in maintaining our properties in every community we build.”
Ramsey added that the homes are a “hot commodity.” Research shows more people are wanting to rent than own, with baby boomers and millennials leading the trend.
“People are busy with work and families or with traveling to see grandkids,” explained Heather Burns, VP of Operations. “We do the work for our clients - snow removal, lawn mowing, any work needed inside - which makes it an appealing home for young professionals, busy families or empty-nesters.”
Construction began on Twin Eagles last fall. Located at 29456 Old Portland Rd, the 1,008 to 1,200 square foot bi-attached offer a two and three-bedroom model with attached 1 and 2-car garages. The exterior includes hardy plank siding and 35 year warranty shingles, showing that Kading invests in top-quality products for the longevity of the home. Specific to Adel is a trail donation along with the paving of Old Portland Road. Monthly rents begin at $895.
“As the Des Moines metro area continues to grow west, we need to be sure we have a variety of home selections for our residents,” explained Jim Peters, Mayor of Adel. “Kading is a great partner to have because they bring amenities to the area, like a bike trail connection, as well as offer a housing option in that is attainable for young professionals to retirees.”
