October 13

A two vehicle property damage accident was investigated at the intersection of R Avenue and Highway 6, Adel. Involved were Jennifer L. Crouse, 2116 SW Tanglewood Lane, Ankeny and Mariah K. Carbine, 2625 Tracy Avenue, Van Meter. Both vehicles were stopped at Highway 6 on R Ave. Carbine was in front of Crouse. Crouse thought Carbine was moving forward and she struck the back of Carbine’s vehicle. Damage to Crouse’s vehicle is estimated at $300. Carbine’s vehicle sustained approximately $500 damage.

A one vehicle personal injury accident occurred in the 800 block of S. 4th Street, Adel. Christopher A. Mayland, 35620 Nome Ct., DeSoto, was northbound on S. 4th Street and lost control of his vehicle, which caused him to strike a tree. Mayland was transported by Dallas County EMS. Damage to his vehicle is estimated at $10,000. Charges are pending.

Michael S. Benson, 207 S. 5th Street, Adel, reported a theft.

October 12

Linda L. O’Neel, 200 SW 6th Street, Stuart, reported a theft.

October 11

A 16-year-old from Adel, was cited for minor using tobacco.

Thomas J. Herrick, 1515 Cedar, Adel, was westbound in the 25000 block of Highway 6, Adel. A deer entered the roadway and was struck by Herrick causing approximately $2,000 damage to his vehicle.

October 10

Joseph Tyler Gilbert, age 23, 723 N. 15th Street, Adel, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for probation violation.

October 8

xx Rebecca D. Lienemann, 1607 Grove Street, Adel, reported a theft.

Steven P. Rowan, 2121 Greene Street, Adel, reported a theft.

Kaitlyn E. Gay, 625 Nile Kinnick Drive S., Adel, reported a theft.
