Dallas County High School students, who walked the trails of the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness this summer at part of the Dallas County Conservation Board’s backpacking trek, will sit down to tell their story on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

The students will recount the lessons they learned from the wile, how the trek changed then and what role the wilderness plays in their lives. Those adults who are interested in learning more about the program are invited to attend the event. An adult trek will take place in 2015. Students can set their sights on the Summer of 2014. Registration is required for this program. Please call DCCB’s administration office at 465-3577, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to reserve a spot.
