The Dallas County Foundation is a charitable foundation created by and for local citizens to improve the quality of life right here in our communities. They help donors make a positive, local impact by offering a variety of giving tools to help people achieve their charitable giving goals and to do good work in local communities. The Dallas County Foundation 2014 Grant Cycle calendar goes as follows:
February - April 2014: Application will be received Feb. 1-Monday, April 14 by 5 p.m.
April - May 2014: Grant Committee reviews Applications.
May 2014: Grant Committee recommendations presented for board approval at May 19 board meeting.
June 2014: Checks requested from Greater Des Moines Community Foundation.
July - August 2014:Approval and denied grant application letters sent.
September 2014: Awards presentation Tuesday, Sept. 16.
Those interested in learning more about the Dallas County Foundation grant process, can plan to attend one of the following seminars where individuals will walk through the grant application and answer any questions regarding the selection process.
The public workshops are all free, open to the public and will begin at 6:30 p.m.
