Glenn W. Kilmer, 91 of Woodward, Iowa, passed away October 2, 2013 at VA Central Iowa Health Care in Des Moines, Iowa. A visitation in remembrance of Glenn will be held from 1:00 - 3:00PM on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the United Methodist Church in Woodward, Iowa.

Born September 26, 1922 in Panora, Iowa the son of Harry and Ina (Howell) Kilmer, he was raised in rural Guthrie County and attended school in Panora. Glenn served in the Army Air Corps during WWII from March 1945 until his honorable discharge in July of 1946. He lived most of his adult life in the Dayton and Woodward areas and retired from Woodward State Hospital. Glenn was a member of the Woodward United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post in Woodward.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Kilmer of Woodward, Iowa; three sons, John (Barb) Kilmer of Fort Dodge, Iowa; George (Mary Ellen) Kilmer of Harrison, Nebraska; Stanley Kilmer of St. Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives and two great grandsons.
