It’s garage sale time again at the Adel Library, Friday, Sept. 29 and Saturday, Sept. 30.

People have been donating all months and Rex has been sorting so come find items for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas among much else you just can’t live without. Or give as gifts to friends who can’t live without it.

The library is open from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday so you might come early and see what is there.

The “Anything Goes Basket” silent auction ends on the 29th so be sure to come see what is there and if you already put a price on something raise it till you get it.

And while you are there check out some of the new books they have. David McCullough’s book, The American Spirit, on who we are and what we stand for, is especially worth reading. P.J. O’Rourke’s “How the Hell Did This Happen” The Campaign of 2016 is hilarious as usual.

I meet and greet and take your money starting at 1 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday. See you at the library.
