This is in response to the letter titled “How much longer,” printed Sept. 28.

I can give the likely answers to some of the questions.

To the first three questions, the answer is that we don’t have to listen to Trump or his supporters at all.

As to trade tariffs and tax breaks (for those who are not wealthy) and a living wage for all workers, no longer than it takes to vote out Grassley, Ernst and King, and get Trump out of office and in prison where he belongs.

Trump will never stop lambasting and/or insulting those who don’t agree with him.

The list of people who work in the White House who have questionable backgrounds? Probably around 99 percent, as that’s who Trump associates with and hires.

Trump’s narcissism will not ever let him understand that the attorney general and the Justice Department do not exist to serve him, but rather, exist to serve the people of the United States.

It is time for we, the voters, to stand up and vote out Grassley, Ernst, and King, as they will never stop working against the best interests of Iowans, and stop working for the best interests of the 1 percent.
