The other returner for the Mustangs is Steve Borneman. Borneman was a starter for this game last year. He had three field goals and one free throw as well as six rebounds and two steals. This year, Borneman is a junior.
The two returners for the Rams are senior Jackson Cole, and junior Grant Arnold. Cole tied for leading scorer for the Rams during this game. With a total of 13 points, Cole had four three pointers and one free throw as well as two steals. Arnold had one field goal, one rebound and one steal for the Rams.
Both teams will have to look to other returners and new teammates for help during this season opener. The Mustangs and Rams will play at DC-G on Tuesday and tip off at 7:45 p.m., right after the girls' varsity game.
