The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers are playing the Atlantic Trojans tonight, Feb. 23, for the Class 3A District 15 Championship game.

The Tigers and Trojans have not played one another this year. The Tigers hold a 12-10 record this season and the Trojans currently have a 17-5 record.

The leading scorers for the Tigers this season is senior Tajen Ross. Ross has 491 points going into tonight's game and averages 22.3 points per game. He has scored 116 field goals, 54 three pointers and 97 free throws.

The second leading scorer for the Tigers is Matthew Larson. Larson has made 51 field goals, 36 three pointers and 52 free throws. He averages 12.5 points per game.

Garrett Franken is the leading scorer for the Trojans. He has 532 points this season from his 149 field goals, 52 three pointers and 78 free throws. Franken averages 24.2 points per game.

With 319 points on the season is Scott Leonard. Leonard has made 131 field goals and 57 free throws.

Cole Knoll leads the Tigers in rebounds. He has 38 offensive rebounds and 78 defensive rebounds for a total of 116. Knoll averages 5.3 rebounds per game.

The second leader of rebounds for the Tigers is Larson. He averages five rebounds per game. He has had 105 rebounds so far this season, 30 that were offensive and 75 that were defensive.

Franken also leads the Trojans in rebounds. He has 196 rebounds this year from his 49 offensive rebounds and 147 defensive rebounds.

Leonard is the second leader. His average is 8.2 points per game. Going into tonight's game, he has 180 rebounds, 83 offensive and 97 defensive.

Payton Conrad leads in assists for the Tigers. He holds 109 assists this season. The second leader is Larson with 48 assists.

For the Trojans, junior Austin Alexander. Alexander currently has 93 assists. Franken has 78 assists allowing him to be the Trojans second leader.

Conrad and Larson lead the Tigers in steals. Conrad had 40 steals going into tonight's game and Larson follows closely with 39.

Franken is also the leader of steals for the Trojans with a total of 47. Sophomore Chase Mullenix follows Franken with 42 steals this season.

As for blocks, Knoll leads the Tigers with ten. Larson has seven blocks of his own placing him as the second leader.

Franken has an outstanding 43 blocks this year for the Tojans. With 17 is Alexander, allowing him to be the second leader of blocks.

The Tigers and Trojans will face off tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Atlantic for the district championship game and the chance to move on to substate.
