The West Central Activities conference have chosen their All-Conference teams.


The Van Meter Bulldogs girls’ basketball team had five memebers selected to be a part of the All-Conference Team.


Mackenzie Roberts was chosen by unanimous vote as a First Team All-Conference selection.


CJ Jones was also chosen as a First Team All-Conference selction.


Sophomore Emily Roberts is a Second Team All-Conference selection.


The Bulldogs also had two honorable mentions; Ellie Folkerts and Chelsea Bright.


The five Bulldogs led in each statistic this season.


Mackenzie was the leading scorer with a total of 374 points and an average of 17 points per game. Jones was the second leading scorer for the Bulldogs with an average of 9.2 points per game and a total of 229 points. Emily had 214 points this season, Folkerts had 128 and Bright had 111.


With an average of 8.9 rebounds, Mackenzie led the Bulldogs this year. Folkerts followed as the second leader with 114 rebounds. Emily had 3.2 rebounds per game this season and Brigtht had a total of 56 rebounds.


Jones led the Bulldogs with 74 assists this season. She was followed by Mackenzie with 51 assists for the second leader of the season. Emily had 40 assists this year, Folkerts had 31 and Bright had 29.


With 47, Jones was also the leader of steals this steals. Mackenzie was also the second leader with her 38 steals. Emily and Bright tied for third with 27 steals each.


Lastly, Jones led the Bulldogs with 21 blocks on the season and was followed with 18 from Mackenzie Roberts. Folkerts had the third most blocks with her 12 this season and Emily Roberts had four.
