The Raccoon River Conference announced their All-Conference teams earlier this month and the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys’ basketball team had four recognized.


Tajen Ross was awarded as a First Team All-Conference member. Matthew Larson was recognized as a Second Team All-Conference member. Two more seniors, Payton Conrad and Sam McCartney, were All-Conference Honorable Mentions.


The four seniors led the Tiger team in points. Ross led by a large margin this season with a total of 506 points and an average of 22 points per game. Larson was the second leading scorer with 279 points on the season and a game average of 12.7 points. Conrad had 240 points this year and McCartney finished the season with 108 points.


Larson was the second leader of rebounds with 105 total right behind junior Cole Knoll with 116 on the season. Ross was the third leader for the Tigers with 100 rebounds to finish the season.


The four All-Conference selections led the Tigers in assists. Conrad led with 112 on the season, Larson followed with 48, Ross was in third with 34 assists and McCartney had 28 assists this year.


Larson led the Tigers with 41 steals this season. Conrad closely followed Larson with a total of 40 steals. Ross had 21 steals this year and McCartney tied with Knoll for 13 steals each.


The Tigers had very few blocks this season. Larson was the second leader of blocks with a total of eight, once again following Knoll who had 12. The other three All-Conference selections, McCartney, Ross and Conrad. each had two this year.


With the help of Ross, Larson, Conrad and McCartney the Tigers ended their season with a 12-11 record.
