The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys’ track team had their last indoor meet at Central College on Friday, March 17.


Jacob West placed highest in the meet for the Tigers. He finished in second place in the high jump event with his the height of six feet, four inches.


The Tigers’ 4x200 meter relay team, made up of David Howard, Austin Flora, West and Reece McLaughlin, placed third. The four Tigers ran a time of 1:41.34.


With a jump of 18 feet, 4.5 inches. West also placed 11th in the long jump event for the Tigers.


Caleb Weddle and Lucas Heitz were two of the Tigers to run in the 60 meter hurdles. Weddle placed 14th overall with his time of 9.67 seconds and Heitz finished in 9.75 seconds to place 15th.


The 1600 meter race also had two Tigers running in it; Braeden Hegarty and Sean McGee. With his time of 5:31.36 Hegarty placed 25th and McGee placed 29th with his time of 5:34.34.


Colton Pirtle ran the 200 meter dash. The Tiger finished this race in 25.60 seconds to place 30th.


The Tigers’ first regular season meet is on Friday, March 31 in Winterset at 4:30 p.m.
