The Dallas Center-Grimes Fillies traveled to the Lakeview Country Club on Thursday, April 6 for a dual against the Winterset Huskies girls golf team.

The Fillies came home the win, recording a team score of 210 strokes. This win brought the Fillies season record up to 2-0.

As a team, the Fillies were all within seven strokes of one another.

The nine hole course had a 35-stroke par.

Maddie Calease led the Fillies with 50 strokes. Calease was the first place medalist of the meet as well.

Aubree Klug followed Calease with 51 strokes at the meet. She tied with Husky Beth Stolte. The two were the runners-up of the meet.

Following Klug was Sarah Rauschenberg for the Fillies. Rauschenberg had 54 strokes at the dual to place third overall.

Lydia Steier and Grace Wengert tied with a total 55 strokes each on the nine-holes.

Filly Reagan Stokely finished up with a score of 57 strokes on the course.

The Fillies won the dual with 210 strokes to the Huskies 245 strokes.

The Fillies had a tournament on Saturday, April 8 hosted by the Perry Jayettes at the Perry Golf and Country Club at 8:30 a.m. Their next dual was on Monday, April 10 in Indianola.

At the Indianola Country Club, the Fillies took on the Indianola Indians on April 10.

While the Indians had both the medalist and the runner up, the Fillies still took home the victory with a team score of 204 strokes. The Fillies led the Indians by just two strokes (206).

Klug led the Fillies against the Indians with a score of 49 strokes. Just one stroke behind Klug was Wengert with 50 strokes.

Stokely had 52 strokes on the course and was just one stroke ahead of Steier who finished the nine holes with 53 strokes.

Calease finished up the meet with a score of 60 strokes for the Fillies.

The Fillies will now host Adel-DeSoto-Minburn on Thursday, April 13 at the Beaver Creek Golf Course at 4 p.m.
