The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys’ soccer team played Bondurant-Farrar on Thursday, May 11. The Tigers won 2-1 over the Bluejays.

The Tigers had more control of the ball than the Bluejays did, but unfortunately, were not able to turn this into goals.

The first goal came when there was just four minutes left in the first half. This goal came after a corner kick from Heriberto Ponce to Matthew Dobrzynski who put the ball into the net.

The Tigers got their second goal just six minutes into the second half. Davis Barton was able avoid two Bluejay defenders on the right side and crossed the ball into the penalty box. Eli Schwarzkopf was then able to get ahold of the ball and volley into the goal. The Tigers were up 2-0.

Ten minutes before the end of the game, the Bluejays were able to slide one past the Tigers’ keeper TJ Klocke. The Tigers continued to hold the Bluejays off the rest of the game and won 2-1.

The Tigers will be playing in Carlisle tonight, May 15 at 7:00 p.m.
