With 29 minutes left in the first half, the Tigers were awarded a corner kick. The kick went straight to Sydney Bertman who shot the ball to the goal, but the ball was deflected and bounced back out to Jordan Hook. Hook quickly shot the ball and the Tigers had their second goal of the game.

Just a minute and a half after the restart of the game, the Tigers earned their third goal. Gabbi Moss shot the ball, but just like Bertman’s, her shot bounced back out. Hook took control of the ball again and shot the ball back into the net.

Other than a few shots, an offsides call and close-scoring free kick for the Monarchs, LaFollette’s goal was the final goal of the first half, allowing the Tigers to lead 6-0.

Just like the first half, the Tigers started the second half off strong. Bertman took the ball down the field immediately and scored the first goal of the half just 30 seconds in. The score was 7-0.

The Tigers continued shooting and within three minutes, Cook was down the field again passing the ball to Delaney Barton. Barton then shot the ball for the Tigers’ eighth goal.

In just six minutes, the Tigers fit in several more shots, which Pick was able to keep from going into the Monarchs’ goal. Although, after a pass from Hook, Bertman was able to tap the ball into the goal to put the Tigers up 9-0. Just one more goal to end the game.
