The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs traveled to Indianola to play the Indians on June 22. The Mustangs recorded their 13th loss of the season when the Indians won 8-4.
The Mustangs allowed the Indians six runs in the first inning while they only gained one in the second. Their one run in the second was the only run they had up until the seventh inning when they scored another three runs.
The Mustangs finished the game with just two hits. Sean Madsen and Tyler Merical were the two responsible for the two hits. Madsen had one double and was also walked to base once. Merical also had two of the Mustangs’ RBIs.
Brady Nicolet had the third and final RBI for the Mustangs and scored of the four runs. Madesen, Justin Hannemann and Kyle Endsley each scored one run for the Mustangs.
The game ended with the Indians winning 8-4. The Mustangs have a double header on Monday, June 26 against Pella Christian at 5:30 p.m.
