The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs had double header against the Pella Christian Eagles on June 26. The Mustangs lost the first game 3-1 and came back to win the second game 5-0.


In the first gam, the Mustangs were only able to score one run in the sixth inning. This run was scored by Jordan Humphreys.


The Mustangs began the second game strong with four of their five runs in the first inning.


Brett Foreman and Trent Carpenter led the game with one hit, one RBI and one run each.


Cade Bertrand and Kade Rosa also had one hit and one run against the Eagles in the second game.


The Mustangs’ fifth run was scored by Justin Biegger, who also had two hits against the Eagles.


Logan Smith, Hunter Baumler and Humphreys each had one of the Mustangs’ five RBIs. Smith and Baumler also had one hit each.


The Mustangs will be playing Roosevelt tonight at 5:30 p.m.
