The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers’ football season came to an end on Friday, Oct. 20 with a 42-20 loss to the Glenwood Rams.
The Tigers’ quarterback Matthew West had 21 pass attempts and eight completions on the night. He had a total of 116 passing yards and threw all three of the touchdowns. West finished the game with a quarterback rating of 131.6.
West also led the Tigers in rushing yards. He finished the game with 65 yards from nine rush attempts. Nick Lindgren was the second leader with six attempts for 21 yards. Brett Duroe followed with 19 yards from just two rush attempts.
Receivers Gavin O’Steen and Cole Knoll scored the three touchdowns for the Tigers.
O’Steen led the team with four receptions for 88 yards. He scored two of the Tigers’ three touchdowns, his longest for 61 yards. Knoll had three receptions for the Tigers and 25 yards. Knoll’s one touchdown was for 17 yards.
Kicker Davis Barton made two of his three attempts at PATs.
Gage Fuller led the Tigers in tackles. He had nine solo tackles and one tackle assists against the Rams. Nicholas Bradshaw was the second leader of tackles with his total of six. Bradshaw had four solo tackles and four assists.
The Tigers’ season ended with a 1-8 record.
