A beautiful round of golf played by A-D-M senior Micah Moyer helped lead the Tigers to a first place finish in the Raccoon River Conference triangular Thursday between the A-D-M, Boone, and Winterset.
The Tigers as a team took the top spot with a team total of 157 followed by host Winterset with a 162 and Boone with a 167.
Five pars and two birdies made up the great round by Micah Moyer who took the meet’s top honor individually with his round of even-par 35. The last five holes for Moyer included either a birdie or a par.
Adam O’Connor, who led the Tigers the past two meets, chipped in a four-over par 39 followed by Grant Curran’s three par performance to earn a 40. Matthew West put up his season best nine hole score with 43 strokes for the day followed by Grant Garton (44) and Carter Greenslade (48).
Next on the docket for the Tiger boys will be a return trip to River Valley Golf Course on Monday, May 30 against Bondurant-Farrar. The meet will begin at 4 p.m.
