Jakob Anderson scored the only goal halfway through the second half and Notre Dame-West Burlington blanked Central Lee, 1-0, in an SEI Superconference boys soccer match at Donnellson Thursday.

Jacob Kamrath assisted on the goal. Nike goalkeeper Caden Murphy picked up the shutout with nine saves.

Central Lee's Skylar Schau also had nine saves.

Notre Dame-West Burlington (9-2) travels to Davenport Monday to face the West Falcons. Central Lee (4-5) hosts Highland today.

FORT MADISON 4, KEOKUK 3 (OT): Brody Rung's goal five minutes into overtime lifted the Bloodhounds to a Southeast Conference win at Keokuk.

Reuben Eid and David Goebel assisted Rung's game-winning goal. Earlier and trailing 2-0, Rung scored on a assist by Justin Bowker. Fort Madison got an unassisted goal by Eid midway through the second half and AJ Nolting tied the score at 3-3 on a penalty kick with two minutes left in regulation play.

Javier Trejo had 14 saves for Fort Madison (3-5, 2-3 SEC), which hosts Iowa City Liberty today.

MEDIAPOLIS 1, DANVILLE-NEW LONDON 0 (OT): The Bulldogs needed an overtime to knock off Danville-New London at Danville.

Sawyer Foster finished with eight saves for Danville-New London (1-8), which travels to Wellman Monday to play Mid-Prairie. Mediapolis (3-5) hosts Washington Saturday.

GIRLS SOCCER

FAIRFIELD 3, MOUNT PLEASANT 2: The Panthers' rally fell short in a Southeast Conference match at Mount Pleasant.

Behind 3-0, Mount Pleasant's offense came alive in the second half. Anna Ostby scored, then with 15 minutes left to play Kalyssa Longhurst added a goal for the Panthers..

WOLVES SWEEP L-M: Caleb Hagge carded an even par 36 to lead Winfield-Mount Union to a 159-205 dual victory over Louisa-Muscatine at Twin Lakes golf course. The W-MU girls made it a sweep with a 192-209 victory over the Falcons.

Jacob Shutterle led the Louisa-Muscatine boys with a 50. W-MU's Lexee Hartsock was medalist in the girls dual with a 41, Meaen Miller and Sarah Martinez paced Louisa-Muscatine with 51s.

Columbus won the girls event with 208 strokes. Lone Tree and Highland didn't have enough players for a team score. Aubrey Duncan led Columbus with a 44.

Pence walked just one batter and struck out 11 Bombers. Meanwhile, the Chargers accumulated 14 hits.

Illini West's Graice McDowell led the hit parade with a triple, two singles and three runs batted in in three trips to the plate. She also scored three runs, Baylee Clampitt, Pence, Sydney Carlisle, Katelyn Murphy and Brooke Lawson each had two hits. Clampitt and Kelly Sirtak each had two RBIs.

GIRLS TENNIS

ND-WB 6, FORT MADISON 3: The Nikes clinched the dual victory with two wins in the three doubles matches at Dankwardt Park.

Notre Dame-West Burlington stayed unbeaten in six duals. The Nikes compete Saturday in the Grayhound Invitational against Fort Madison, Fairfield, Davis County, Davenport North and host Burlington at Dankwardt Park in a single elimination tournament.

TRACK AND FIELD

TIGERS WIN GIRLS TITLE: New London won the Class B girls team championship in the Ekstrand Relays hosted by WACO High School at Wayland.

The Tigers scored 119 points to run past runner-up Highland's 79 points. New London had two quadtruple winners. Carson McSorley won the 400 dash and 400 hurdles and was a member of the winning sprint medley and 4x400 relay teams. Savannah Sutherland picked up wins in the high jump, spriint medley, distance medley and 4x100.

Fairfield won the Class A girls title and the Class A boys championship. Lone Tree captured the Class B boys team title.

Helaina Hillyard of Mediapolis was a triple winner in Class A girls, winning the high jump and 200-meter dash and teaming with Mackenzie Springsteen, Ellie Gerber and Rian Gerber for a win in the 4x400 relay.
