Make it three straight conference victories for the A-D-M boys’ soccer team who solidified a 2-1 win over Bondurant-Farrar Thursday night.

It took until the second half but the Tigers remained unblemished in their conference record in Bondurant.

What was a silent scoring half in the first 40 minutes exploded into a two goal second half for the final 40 minutes of play. Twelve minutes into the second stanza, a passing combination of Davis Barton to Dakota Kahler to Eli Schwarzkopf landed Eli his eighth goal of the season and a 1-0 A-D-M lead. The Tigers cranked up the lead a mere 15 minutes later with a Heriberto Ponce pass that found its way to the foot of Davis Barton. Barton in turn increased the Tiger lead 2-0 with his seventh goal of 2018.

A-D-M once again dominated in the ball control category allowing just five shots on goal against them while in turn posting up 13 shots on goal offensively. Still newly minted goal keeper Conner Chappell allowed his first goal of the season while picking up five saves on the night.

The Tigers now raise their overall record to 11-3 and their conference record to 5-0. The season for the Tigers continues on with a home contest on Monday, May 14 against Boone. The contest will be held on senior night and will begin from Adel at 7 p.m.
