Emily Box pounded 13 kills and added five blocks to lead fourth-ranked (Class 1A) Holy Trinity to a 25-11, 25-20, 25-14 sweep of No. 11 (2A) Van Buren in a SEI Superconference South Division volleyball match at Fort Madison Thursday night.

Taylor Boeding had eight kills for Holy Trinity and Claire Pothitakis and Katie Denning each had four. Bailey Hellweg finished with 17 assists and Kassie Randolph had 14. Randolph also served eight aces on 19-for-20 efficiency. Elyse Pothitakis had 24 digs.

Van Buren's Selena Sayre led all hitters with 16 kills. Taryn Scheuermann and Chloe Davidson each had four blocks. Isabell Manning led the Warrior defense with 25 digs.

KEOKUK 3, MOUNT PLEASANT 1: Isabel Vandenberg and Miracle Ailes combined for 22 kills to lead the Chiefs past Mount Pleasant, 23-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-12, in a Southeast Conference match at Mount Pleasant.

Vandenberg had 13 kills and Ailes finished with nine kills and two blocks. Michenna Davis had 23 assists and Keokuk's Jetta Tinder served five aces.

Keokuk (1-6, 1-3 SEC) hosts an eight-team tournament Saturday. Mount Pleasant (2-12, 0-4) plays at Albia Saturday.
