The Van Meter boys’ basketball team finishes the regular season with a record of 19-2 after beating Ogden 76-57 in Ogden on Feb. 13 in a game that was rescheduled from Feb. 4 due to weather.

Stephen Folkerts had a double-double in the finale scoring 17 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Jacob Eslick led the team in scoring shooting 6-of-8 for 20 points while also having six rebounds. Ben Flaherty was also in double digits with 18 points shooting 7-of-11 from the field.

Brandon Brittain shot just 1-of-7 and 1-of-5 from three-point range and scored only four points but led the team with 8 assists.

The Bulldogs will begin post-season play with the district tournament on Thursday. They will play Panorama in Urbandale at 6:30 p.m.
