A-D-M came out on top in a close battle at the Perry Invitational on April 20.

The top three teams were separated by just two strokes. The Tigers won the seven-team meet with a 338. Norwalk was second with a 339, Gilbert third with a 340 and Woodward-Granger fifth with a 373.

Brody Boston carded a 76 to earn medalist honors for A-D-M. He had eight pars and four birdies and finished six strokes ahead of runner-up Jack Brosnahan of Perry.

Ryan Krugler and Hunter Whyle tied for ninth place with 87s and Joe Vest tacked on an 88. The Tigers’ lineup also included Taran Draisey (93), Ben Geadelmann (98), Ben Sandquist (117) and Trevor Harsh (128).

The Hawks were led by an 87 from Chris McConahay. Alex Harlan carded a n 89, Austin Athey a 97 and Jake Smiley a 100. Also golfing were Jordan Pierece (106) and Tyler Wiedner (107).

A-D-M dropped a pair of meets to Carroll on Monday. The boys lost 163-173, getting a 39 from Boston. The A-D-M girls fell 216-222, led by a runner-up showing from Jaycee Mandernach. She carded a 53, one stroke off the pace of medalist Jill Pettit of Carroll.
