The Adel-De Soto-Minburn track team finished sixth in the Ballard Invitational on Tuesday after also competing Saturday in the Cyclone Invitational at Harlan.
Coach Mike Whisner said the trip to Harlan gave the Tigers an opportunity to improve times for the upcoming Drake Relays and for district qualifying.
Both meets were run in cold and windy weather.
A-D-M was scheduled to compete today, weather permitting, at the Urbandale meet, then runs again next Tuesday in a meet at Carlisle.
The Tigers are scheduled to compete (based on times run this season) in several events at the Drake Relays, which begin next Thursday.
