Abby Musser of Woodward-Granger was one of two unanimous selections to the all-West Central Activities Conference first team.

The conference’s coaches tabbed Musser and Des Moines Christian’s Brynn Reichardt for the honor. Musser was second in the conference with 275 kills this season, and first in digs (501) and aces (62).

Tori Manning was also named to the first team. The defensive specialist had 383 digs as well as 29 aces and a 95 percent serve success rate.

Katie Agey of Van Meter was named to the second team. She was fourth in the WCAC with 249 kills, and her .406 hitting was tops in the conference. She also served at a 92 percent success rate and racked up 45 kills.

W-G’s Olivia McCune and Abby Hansen, and Van Meter’s Ashlyn Reicks and Ali Flaherty were honorable mentions. McCune, a freshman, had 181 kills and 38 blocks, while Hansen finished with 101 kills and 59 blocks. Reicks had 50 service aces and 460 digs, while Flaherty finished with 188 kills and 317 digs.

The Hawks tied Guthrie Center for second place in the conference with a 6-2 record. Van Meter finished sixth.
