A-D-M improved to 5-0 in Raccoon River Conference play with a pair of victories in recent action.

The Tigers tallied a 25-12, 25-8, 25-18 win at Winterset on Tuesday behind a 12-kill match by senior Allison Gottschalk. The Tigers hit .316 as a team, and got seven kills from both Torrie Hook and Haley Schepers. Marissa Felt had 14 assists as well as one ace on 11-of-12 serving.

A-D-M beat Carlisle 25-11, 25-17, 25-17 on Sept. 26. Hook led with 12 kills and 11 digs while Gottschalk conttributed nine kills. Schepers had seven and Abby Merschman tacked on five. Felt had 25 assists, and team was 72-of-74 serving (97.3 percent) with five aces.

In between, the Tigers traveled Sept. 28 to Dubuque Hempstead’s tournament. A-D-M beat Davenport West 21-8, 21-13, but fell in straight sets twice to Iowa City High (21-6, 21-18 and 21-18, 21-13) and once to Muscatine (21-17, 28-26).

Gottschalk had 21 kills on the day, followed by 19 from Hook and 12 from Schepers. Brennan Hook had 31 assists and Maddie Powers 42 digs.

A-D-M returns to action Oct. 10 in a makeup match at home against Dallas Center-Grimes.
