Waukee swept Mason City on Tuesday, improving to 5-2 over the Warriors’ last seven matches.

Emilee Anderson posted 12 kills, four blocks and a .450 hitting efficiency in the Warriors’ 25-10, 25-3, 25-12 victory in Waukee. Denise Ssozi had nine kills and a .563 efficiency, and Schylir Rowen added seven kills.

Lauren Vespa had 23 assists and Morgan Potts led with 16 digs.

Waukee four matches at Cedar Falls’ tournament on Sept. 28, beating Waterloo East 21-14, 21-8; Des Moines East 21-10, 21-12; Fort Dodge 28-26, 27-25; and Marshalltown , 15-25, 25-19, 15-13. The team lost to Grundy Center, 19-21, 21-13, 12-15; and Cedar Falls, 21-17- 21-15.

Anderson and Taylor Voorhees led a balanced scoring attack with 36 kills apiece. Voorhees logged 13 in the win over Fort Dodge, while Anderson added 11 blocks.

Ssozi added 15 kills and Rowen finished with 12. Potts amassed a team-high 56 digs.

Waukee travels Saturday to Urbandale before returning home to host Ankeny Centennial on Oct. 8.
