A balanced scoring attack helped Waukee upend Marshalltown 69-35 on Tuesday.

Four Warriors scored eight points or more, led by senior Nate Gehring, who accounted for 21 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots. Michael Winger sank 5-of-8 3-point attempts and finished with 15 points, Michael Jacobson added 14 points and seven rebounds, and Anthony Nelson added eight points and eight boards.

Waukee outscored Marshalltown 25-10 in the first quarter, and had a 40-19 advantage at halftime.

Jacobson and Nelson each recorded double-doubles in Waukee’s 61-36 thumping of Ottumwa on Jan. 10.

Nelson finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and four steals. Jacobson added 16 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals. Gehring finished with eight points, five boards and three blocked shots.
