The Waukee boys’ track team won 10 events and recorded seven second-place finishes to dominate the field at the Indian Relays on April 4.

Waukee finished with 196 points, more than double the total of runner-up Dowling Catholic. Dallas Center-Grimes was eighth with 31 points.

The Warriors won all six relay events: the 4×800 (Ross Vogel, Jordan Roszhart, Komuri Lejukole, Irvin Stumberg in 8:14.49), shuttle hurdle (Pat Gray, Jared Brdicko, Riley Gray, Noah Larrison in 59.93), 4×200 (Nihad Ejubovic, Trevor Allen, A.J. Allen, Corbin Lowe in 1:31.59), distance medley (Alan Vongnhay, Carter Neilsen, Matt Hoeg, Connor Simmons in 3:45.29), 4×100 (Corbin Lowe, A.J. Allen, Trevor Allen, Vongnhay in 43.88) and 4×400 (Lowe, A.J. Allen, Vogel, Larrison in 3:26.25).

Simmons and Brennan Borgestad went 1-2 in the 3,200, Larrison and Brdicko were first and third in the 110 high hurdles, and Austin Krohnke and Ryan Tunink were first and third in the 1,600. Ross Reynolds won the discus with a throw of 146-1.

Andrew Cutler and Tyler Hunke were second and third in the high jump, Hoeg and Pat Gray were second and third in the 400, Lowe and Ejubovic were second and third in the 200, and Riley Gray and Pat Gray finished second and third in the 400 hurdles.

Krohnke was also second in the 800.

The Mustangs got a win in the high jump when Reese Iversen cleared 6-6. Josh Prohaska was fourth in the 800 (2:02.19) and sixth in the 3,200 (10:15.90).
