The Waukee girls’ basketball team improved to 3-0 with a 58-52 win at Johnston on Tuesday.

Taylor Wingert and Anna Kollmorgen each scored 14 points to pace the Warriors. Reilly Jacobson scored eight points, Carlie Littlefield added six and Miranda Hunzeker tacked on six.

Four players reached double digits in a 70-33 thrashing of Indianola on Dec. 6.

Littlefield scored 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting to lead the way. Hunzeker also added 15 points off the bench, and Ellie Cavanaugh finished with 13 points. Jacobson added 10 points, six rebounds and five steals.

Waukee plays host to Ankeny Centennial on Friday, the first of seven home games for the Warriors in an eight-game stretch.
