Waukee took both ends of a doubleheader with Des Moines Roosevelt on May 31, beating the Roughriders 9-2 and 4-0.

The Warriors posted a four-run first in game one. Tyler Johnson doubled, scored twice and drove in two runs and Jordan Niehaus was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Colby Siebersma was 2-for-3 and scored twice. Addison Meyers picked up the win, striking out four and allowing six hits over four innings.

Austin Battaglia struck out nine over five innings to win game two. Luke Fegen was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Matt Hoeg also doubled and drove in a run.
