OQUAWKA, Ill. — A fourth person has been charged in connection with several break-ins New Year's Eve at the Get Away cabins near Gladstone, Illinois.

Henderson County Sheriff Steven Haynes said Thursday that Kyle R. Parker, 23, was arrested Wednesday on a Henderson County warrant for burglary.

Det. Matt Link, an investigator with the sheriff's department, said it appears Parker assisted three other men in the break-ins.

"It is alleged that Parker and the three other Burlington men; Micheal Jagerson Jr., Kaleb Shannon, and Dustan Fenton all broke in to approximately 20 cabins, stealing guns, televisions, and electronic equipment," Link said.

Parker's bond is set at $50,000, he said.

Burglary is a class 2 felony in Illinois. If convicted, the men are facing prison terms of at least seven years.

The four men are accused of a crime spree over the New Year’s weekend. Footage from security cameras showing one of the Henderson County break-ins was posted Jan 1. to Facebook and viewed more than 160,000 times. It shows two men coming onto the property, breaking in and exiting with a large, flat-panel TV.

Several other people have also been arrested for a series of burglaries at cabins and residences on O'Connell Beach Road in Des Moines County.

Investigators in both Iowa and Illinois said the men are part of a loosely knit group who stole guns, flat-screen televisions, electronic equipment, video games, tools and a variety of other items in the burglaries from residences and cabins “up and down” the Mississippi River.

Authorities are attempting to determine where the group was able to sell that amount of stolen property in this area.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges could be filed in both states in the near future, authorities said.
