The start of the Pufferbilly Days 2018 celebration is less than a month away and organizers are release more information about events that are scheduled for Sept. 7-9.
The Mud Volleyball Tournament will be held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 9. It will take place east of the Boone County Fairgrounds. The cost to enter the tournament is $100 per team. The Mud Volleyball Tournament is co-ed teams with double elimination format. Entries are due by noon on Tuesday, Sept. 5
The fifth annual Pufferbilly Days Bike Ride will be held on Sept. 9, beginning at 9 a..m. at McHose Park for the High Roller/Long Distance Ride (Registration at 8 a.m.) and 10Aa.m. for the Family Fun Ride (Registration at 9 a.m.).
There will be two different routes you can bike. The Family Fun Ride around the city of Boone is approximately 5.5 miles or there will be a High Roller/Long Distance Ride which will go out to the Iowa Arboretum and back and is approximately 30.5 Miles. The price is $15 for adults and $10 for kids if received by Saturday, Sept. 8 and will be $20 for adults and $15 for kids the day of the ride. People who sign up before Aug. 17 will receive a Pufferbilly Days Bike Ride T-Shirt.
