The 2019 Dallas County Foundation Grant information is now online at The Overview Instructions, Grant Application and Evaluation are all listed.

DCF will fund grant requests that impact Dallas County, Iowa residents. Areas of granting include health and human services, arts and culture, youth development, education, recreation/environment and community betterment. Awards will range from $500 to $20,000. It is anticipated that over $100,000 will be granted in 2019.

Applicants must be a 501(c) 3, 5,or 6 organization or a 170(b) unit of government; or affiliated with another organization that has one of these designations. The grant deadline is Friday, Feb. 1, 2019.

Thanks to the generosity of Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation, the DCF will be able to award additional grants.

DCF grant application instructions and requirements will be explained at an 11:30 a.m. workshop on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Adel Public Library. Online sign up is required. A free lunch will be served.

Attendance at the workshop helps ensure proper grant submissions.

The Dallas County Foundation, established in 2005, is an affiliate of the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation. From inception to 2018 DCF has granted over $1 million to Dallas County, Iowa nonprofit groups.
