A two vehicle property damage accident occurred at the intersection of S. 10th and Prairie Streets, Adel. Crystal L. Dillinger, 31500 S. Old Highway 6, Redfield, was southbound on S. 10th Street. She stopped at the stop sign at Prairie Street, then proceeded into the intersection. Brandi M. Marker, 23319 270th St., Adel, was eastbound on Prairie Street and struck Dillinger. Damage to Dillinger’s vehicle is estimated at $1,000. Marker’s vehicle sustained approximately $1,500 damage. Dillinger was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway.

A two vehicle property damage accident was investigated at the intersection of Nile Kinnick Drive S. and Greene Street. Dennis L. Shroyer, 720 E. Clay Street, Panora, was westbound on Greene Street. Katelyn D. Johnson, 1404 Greene Street, was eastbound on Greene Street. Shroyer, who believed he had a green arrow, was turning south onto Nile Kinnick Drive S. when Johnson entered the intersection. Shroyer was unable to stop and struck Johnson’s vehicle, Shroyer’s vehicle sustained approximately $200 damage. Damage to Johnson’s vehicle is estimated at $1,100.

A property damage accident occurred in a business parking lot at 211 S. 7th Street. Judy J. Heckman, 25407 278th Place, Dallas Center, was backing from a parking spot. Linda K. Hagler, 500 Van Fossen Lane, was traveling eastbound through the lot and was struck by Heckman. Each vehicle sustained approximately $500 damage.

May 30

A property damage accident occurred in the 800 block of Bryan Street. Matthew Drake Williams, 418 Cottage Street, was backing from a parking space. While doing so, he accelerated, backed up over a curb and struck a City of Adel street sign. Damage to the Williams vehicle is estimated at $150. Damage to the sign is approximately $50.
