Donald Ray Hubbard

November 23, 1963 – June 11, 2021

On Friday June 11, Don, age 57, passed away at home after a short battle with cancer. He fought with all his might, continually quoting his favorite phrase, "Cowboy Up".

He was born in Des Moines to Harold E. Hubbard and Norma J. (Allen) Hubbard and was the youngest of 5 children.

He spent most of his life in his home town of Adel.

He was proud of being a security officer and dispatcher. He spent over 17 years in security at Jordan Creek Town Center, in West Des Moines, where he made many friends and acquired new "family".

He is proceeded in death by his father Harold.

He is survived by his mother Norma Hubbard, children Kelsie Rae Hubbard and Sean Paul Hubbard and siblings David Hubbard, Cheryl Jackson, Sharon Kenoyer, Bruce (Heather) Hubbard, 2 nephews and 4 nieces.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
