Throughout his esteemed career, Don became an avid traveler. Traveling repeatedly to most countries around the globe and visiting the seven wonders of the world. He enjoyed the wide variety of cultures, food, history and people. There were no barriers for Don and he loved to befriend any person of any background. Due to his struggles through life, and love for all, he became a philanthropist by nature. Most of all, Don was known for the love he had for his family.

Don was preceded in death by his mother Rosalie, and father Glen, and brother Ronnie. He is survived by his 6 children, Jason, Lisa, Scott, Brittany, Blake and Brent, and 14 grandchildren, his brothers Lonnie, Ronald, Robert, Jimmy and sister Judy, and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
