Woodward-Granger softball saw the opportunity to complete their unfinished game against Ogden on Friday, June 29.
The heat did not stop either team from competing on Friday and Ogden defeated the Hawks 18-1.
The game picked up where it left off in the top of the third with one runner on base and the score sitting at 7-0.
Katelyn Bandstra started off the bottom of the third with a hit before the game moved along.
Rian Jamison pitched the rest of the game with only one base on balls and no strikeouts.
The lone score of the game happened thanks to several Hawks in the bottom of the fifth.
Kaycee Major was able to walk to first on a hit by pitch. Bella Milosevich was put in as the pinch runner before making it to second. Abby Pommrehn was then put in as the pinch runner for Milosevich. Once the switch was made, Elly Polich hit a single that brought Pommrehn to third before running to home plate.
The Hawks will play their next game at home on Saturday, June 30 to makeup for a cancelled match up against Madrid.
